It is fair to say that the weather in the South of England at the moment can be summed up with 2 words – bloody awful. So after 2 weeks of almost constant persisting down, I spotted a brief interlude in the rain & decided to raid the fridge & then head down to one of my favourite places to eat out – a secluded little copse by the River Thames.
With my current fascination with Mediterranean food, I decided to grill some harissa-spiced lamb cutlets over the embers of my bush stove, which was served with a simple raita (natural yoghurt with finely chopped mint) spread over toasted flatbread.
